When you drop in for your first turn on the piste, the Artefact feels immediately responsive and balanced. The Edge Synergy technology, a specially-designed sidecut and optimised contact points work together to create a board that's stable and intuitive to carve, even at high speeds. This setup allows for a consistent, engaged edge hold across a variety of snow conditions.
In powder, the Artefact is built to excel. The board's tapered shape, combined with a longer, more buoyant tip and a directional Camrock profile, ensures exceptional float. This design allows you to maintain a centered stance and engage fully on both feet, providing a smooth, surfy feel in deep snow. The directional Camrock profile is engineered to lift the nose naturally, reducing the need to lean back and preventing rear leg fatigue.
Under the hood, a lightweight yet strong UL Forest Core provides the foundation. It's reinforced with triax fibreglass and Carbon Power Strips which give the board solid torsional stiffness and responsive pop. This construction delivers the power and precision needed for navigating challenging, ungroomed terrain while offering the stability required for high-speed charging.
While it's a true freeride board at its heart, the Artefact also handles other riding styles well. It has a forgiving nature that makes it easy to ride switch and a stable platform for hitting side-country jumps or park features.
